Academy of Design

The Academy of Design is inspired by Project Runway Junior and aligns with the maker movement and design thinking practices. It is the only program for young designers in the Bay Area taught by a fashion industry insider.

Founder Pamela Moyce is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Her designs have been sold nationwide in stores including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macys, Athleta, and REI. A mother of two, she loves fashion, fabrics, fun, and fostering young talent!

At the Academy of Design, we teach the process of design.

We promote the design mindset needed to think outside the box and teach the skills needed to communicate ideas and build prototypes.
