At this point, dancers have fully mastered the unique basis of the three major components of the Graham technique: contract/release, spiral, and high arch. In this level these components are used to learn much more demanding combinations and movements. Names such as pretzel, 12 count, split throws, and back falls may not mean much until they are seen properly executed by an advanced dancer. By this time, the previous years of training truly gel together and the dancers are able to fly through the air, skimming magically along the ground faster than one can imagine.
