Copper River Country Club is a masterpiece created from the dreams of Fresnan William R. Tatham Sr. As a result of commitment and enduring effort, his vision of an upscale, master-planned community is becoming a reality - and a precious gem in California's treasured San Joaquin Valley. The clubhouse overlooks lush vineyards, rolling hills and serene lakes, set against the backdrop of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains.

The Copper River Clubhouse is a model of casual style. Spanish courtyard fountains and arched walkways create an atmosphere of old California. Inside, you will find stately banquet halls and meeting rooms, a lounge, grill and an eloquent dining room. Members also have access to the state-of-the-art fitness center, world-class tennis facilities, and pool pavilion, all surrounded by the gorgeous USGA authorized golf course. Renowned Carmel Architect David Pfaff carefully designed the 18 hole championship course, weaving it through the foothills and providing a beautiful, challenging and exciting experience for everyone from high handicappers to scratch golfers.

Bill Griffith, Copper River's Course Superintendent, was hired by Mr. Tatham in 1993 as the club's first employee to oversee construction of the golf course, which was completed and opened for play in the spring of 1995. One year later, Mr. Tatham completed the 30,000 square foot clubhouse, and dedicated it to the use and enjoyment of the members in April 1996.
