Go wild this summer at Happy Hollow Zoo Camp!
Each uniquely themed camp provides interactive learning experiences, hands-on activities, zoo tours, and the opportunity to meet live animals up close!Animal Trainers Find out how we train animals at the zoo, what behaviors we train them to do, and why!
You will learn about operant conditioning and positive reinforcement while observing zoo animals during training sessions. You will even get hands-on experience training some of our farm animals!
General Camp Information
Summer camps at Happy Hollow will provide your child with lifelong memories. Each camp is thematically different and incorporates a variety of age-appropriate conservation messaging and activities. Children attend camps independently without parents/guardians and should be comfortable in a group setting.Half-day campers are required to bring a reusable water bottle and a snack. Each camper will receive one camp shirt per week of camp to be worn each day of camp. Additional t-shirts are available for purchase at the time of registration by clicking the "+AddMerchandise" link.
Drop-off for morning camps is from 8:45-9:00 am. Pick-up for morning camps is at 12:00 pm. Campers must be signed in and out of camp with a Camp Instructor each day for your child's safety. A valid form of ID must be presented upon request of the Camp Instructor. Early drop-offs or late pick-ups are not permitted.
