Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is The Best non-violent self defense for children and teens. Students will learn take downs, falling, controls and submission. In this age group, the classes include more techniques performed at higher levels. Warm ups are more intense and designed to improve their strength, explosiveness and overall conditioning. Through demonstration, students learn a series of techniques each day. After thorough preparation, our students implement the new technique in a controlled and supervised sparring session, where they have the opportunity to practice techniques against a resisting opponent . Older kids will learn the fundamentals and techniques that will serve as a bridge for the adult classes.
