Introduction to Glass Blowing (Glass 1)

This 4-day class is designed for people who want to immerse themselves in the magic of glass. Hands-on exercises throughout the course allow you to learn the basics of traditional free-form glass blowing. We’ll cover safety in the hot shop, how to use tools, and the basics of working and shaping hot molten glass. Each student will work towards making a perfect cylindrical vessel by the end of the course

This class is an intensive and it will be intense. Please consider your wellbeing before registering for this class. It will be two 8-hour days in a HOT studio with an hour break for lunch.

Please remember it will be June so, you will need to stay hydrated!!
