Members of the Changed Voices choir are typically former Troubador or Trouvere choristers whose voices have changed, giving them a lower vocal register, either Tenor or Bass. They typically are between the ages of 13 and 18. They rehearse and perform with the Soprano-Alto-Tenor-Bass choir. They often participate in orchestral performances, an international summer tour, and an overnight summer camp. Their musical training allows them to read music well and adapt their techniques to a new instrument: their changed voice.
