Summer Learning Programs create opportunities for student students to develop and grow skills in mathematics, language arts, science, and the arts disciplines through hands-on learning with friends along the way. This summer the Salt Lake City School District is offering a wide variety of programming from the Bonneville Summer camps sessions to the Discovery Summer Learning Programs held at various sites throughout the district. Both elementary and middle school students are encouraged to take advantage of these innovative and engaging summer learning opportunities, by enrolling today! Tuition assistance is available.

This program is intended for grades 1 through 6.

ELL

English Language Development (ELD)

The English Language Development Department provides curriculum and instructional support to teachers in the ELD classroom in grades K-12. We assist teachers in building students’ solid foundation in English in order to move them from one English proficiency level to the next.

Special Needs

Special Education and 504

The Special Education department assists schools in ensuring that identified students with disabilities receive special education and related services in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Improvement Education Act (IDEA). A full range of Special Education programs and related services are available from preschool to post-high school transition.
