Oakland Police Activities League (PAL)

ስለ

In 1981, the Oakland Police Officers Association, the Oakland Police Department and community leaders worked together to form the Oakland Police Activities League, also known as Oakland PAL. The founding officers recognized their dual responsibility to prevent crimes as well as to enforce the law. Since our founding, Oakland PAL has been "getting to kids before they get into trouble."

The Oakland PAL Board of Directors serve without pay and PAL programs are supervised by Oakland Police Officers and community members who volunteer their time.

The PAL programs reach more than 7,000 youth annually and all programs are free of charge. Simply put, for a child to join, all a parent has to do is sign the child up.

We offer programs free of charge. Contact us for details.
