Fourth Grade is a time of growth and increased responsibility. This is the first year students experience switching classrooms to learn from two different teachers each day.
In Math, students learn long division, master computation, and solve challenging word problems. Science focuses on the scientific method and physical science. In Religion, students will study the 10 Commandments and learn how to live out the Christskills in their daily lives. We use the Treasures series for Language Arts to help students grow in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. In Social Studies, students learn about the regions of the United States including the memorization of the states and capitals.
