How can a writing practice inspire visual works and vice versa? Students will work with a professional writer and artist to explore how one creative practice can help the other thrive. Students will learn how to become critically engaged with artwork through writing and peer-review. Learn how the two practices can become parallel within the creative world and how important it is to stretch this part of your brain. Students will expand their artistic vocabulary as well as speak critically about works observed at surrounding museums. All course supplies will be provided by Continuing Education. Students are encouraged to wear art-friendly clothing and are required to bring a non-perishable lunch to every session.
