Activity Schedule
Tuesday, December 26: Improv (Day 1)
Actors will work together to develop quick thinking, adaptability, comic timing, teamwork, and other performance skills as they learn improv games and activities. Students will prepare a final performance of their favorite improv games for friends and family to attend at 3:00 pm.
Wednesday, December 27: Musical Theatre – Disney
Performers learn to sing, dance and tell a story in the grand old Disney-on-Broadway tradition. Students will learn how to isolate body movement and express character and emotion through physicality. Students will perform two choreographed songs for their friends and family at 3:00 pm.
Thursday, December 28: Improv, Puppetry, and Sketch Comedy
With our Sketch Comedy and Scene Writing Day, actors will work with their instructor to create their own improv, puppetry and comedy sketches/scenes! Students will hone their physicality, character development, and improvisational skills and learn how to use them to create hilarious scenes. Actors will present their original material for family and friends at 3:00 pm.
Friday, December 29: Play in a Day – Fables
Actors will work together to prepare a short fables script for a performance in just one day! The final performance will be presented for family and friends to attend at 3:00 pm.
Monday, January 1: No camp
Tuesday, January 2: Choreography
Actors will work with their instructors to create their own choreography for some well-known and loved musical theatre songs, and learn two short combinations that would typically be used in an audition! Students will hone their dance skills and work on creating choreography that tells a story and expresses character. Actors will present their original material to family and friends at 3:00 pm.
Wednesday, January 3: Musical Theatre – Showtunes
Young hoofers and singers learn to sing, dance and tell a story in the grand old Broadway tradition. Students will learn how to isolate body movement and express character and emotion through physicality. Students will perform a choreographed showtune for their friends and family at 3:00 pm.
Thursday, January 4: Play in a Day – Fairytales
Actors will work together to prepare a short fairytale script for a performance in just one day! The final performance will be presented for family and friends to attend at 3:00 pm.

Deals
Peninsula Youth Theatre offers scholarships for classes and productions based on need and availability. Scholarships are considered for families who are experiencing financial difficulties and wish to participate in PYT activities.
