Students will explore the following exciting career choices with
hands-on experiments: Biologist, Astronaut, Architect, Inventor,
Mechanical Engineer, Geologist, and Marine Biologist. Using K’nex
pieces, we’ll make a prototype of Curiosity, the rover that’s landed
on Mars. We’ll take out our magnifying lens and examine live bugs,
beetles, and a slew of marine creatures, understand etymology,
explore life cycles, create animal habitats,! And then, we’ll dig up
dinosaur bones, examine rocks and minerals, break geodes, explore
crystallization, polyhedrons, architecture, and geometry, make
fossils, and many more! This is the camp for kids who have a
variety of interests including a love for animals. (Note: $30
materials fee). Course taught by Science Beginnings
